It feels like ages since the Winter Classic happened...

If Chiarelli can pull himself away from Geno's Cheese Steak stand, he'll realize that his Bruins have a game tonight against the Flyers. The Bruins (29-24-12) need some brotherly love as they come in riding a two game losing streak, but are 6-2-2 in their last 10 games. The Flyers (35-26-4) have fared much better since losing at the Winter Classic and find themselves in 6th place in the East, riding a two game winning streak and 7-2-1 in their last 10.

PLAYOFFS!?

Both the Bruins and Flyers would be in the playoffs in the season ended today with Philadelphia in 6th and Boston in 8th. There is a tight race between spots six through twelve with only ten points separating six teams. A win tonight would give Boston 72 points, bringing them two points away from the 6th place Flyers and tied for 7th with the Canadiens.

As of right now, Boston would be facing off against the Alexander Ovechkins while Philadelphia would face the Buffalo Sabres.

Do you know your enemy?
Flyers Goal Scored By...

Bruins' Three Keys To Winning

1. Stay On Your Skates. What the fuck is wrong with these guys? Is it me or did Boston have trouble staying on their blades against the Leafs. It seems no matter what happened, one of our guys was on his ass because he fell trying to get to the puck, during the forecheck or FELL IN OVERTIME WHICH ALLOWED A RUSH AND THEN OUR PLAYER FELL OVER OUR GOALIE, OPENING THE CREASE.Wow, I apologize for that.

2. Play Defense. Tim Thomas kept the Bruins alive on numerous occasions against the Leafs and should be certified as an EMT. The defense against the Leafs was sluggish, out of position and down right horrible throughout the entire 60 minutes. There were some good individual performances (see: Mark Stuart) and it was good to see guys like Stuart and Boychuk play well because it gives the Bruins hope in the future, but others like Wideman completely killed every and any momentum Stuey and 'Chuk gave the team. If the defense doesn't show up tonight, a team like Philly will light the lamp.

3. Be Aggressive. The Bruins need to be aggressive against the Flyers. Philadelphia loves to hit and lately all Boston loves to do is get hit (to soon?). Bruins need to come out aggressive, high flying and tip the ice in their favor. The playoffs count on it.

LET'S GO BRUINS!
