Patriots QB Tom Brady emerged unhurt from a morning car accident yesterday, and luckily all other individuals involved in the crash were completely unimportant, and any injuries they may have sustained will have absolutely no effect on New England's passing game.
"Oh, thank God," said Patriots fan Andrew, 29, from Quincy, Mass. "Until I heard more details, I was worried we could be without Randy Moss or Alge Crumpler for the opener. That would have put a lot of pressure on our defense and suspect running game."
Witnesses say the collision was pretty thunderous, and could have seriously injured Wes Welker if he happened to be in either vehicle and wasn't wearing a seatbelt.
"Those cars smacked together pretty good," said an eye witness. "Wes Welker could have suffered a broken arm or leg, or dislocated his shoulder. And he just came off that horrific knee injury. Talk about bad luck. It's a good thing he was miles away eating breakfast at his kitchen table, otherwise the Pats could have been in dire straits on 3rd down without a true possession receiver."
Jason, 37, from Brookline, hopes the guy or girl or whoever it was is recovered enough from his or her injuries to watch the Patriots game because 'the Pats are wicked awesome.'
