The seven 2010 inductees into the Pro Football Hall of Fame arrived at Canton, anxious to celebrate their illustrious playing careers, only to be embarrassed when they discovered they each had worn the same exact blazer to the induction ceremony.
"I just thought it was nice the Hall of Fame gave me a gift," said longtime Redskins lineman Russ Grimm. "To show my appreciation, I figured I'd wear it to my induction, but apparently the other six guys had the same idea. Thanks for the individualized gift, Hall of Fame. At least my bronze bust looks like me. Sort of."
John Randle said although it was pretty embarrassing to wear the same blazer on national television with six other guys, he's pretty confident it won't happen in the future.
"It's a yellow blazer," said Randle. "I think it's pretty safe to say those aren't very popular."
A short time after the ceremony, the inductees changed their mind and agreed it would have been much more embarrassing to be the only guy on stage wearing a hideous, light yellow blazer.
