Upon hearing that LaDainian Tomlinson had met with the Vikings and would possibly be teaming up with Adrian Peterson, a couple of guys that managed a fantasy football team two years ago think the potential backfield combination would be completely unstoppable.
"AP and LT in the same backfield?" asked Larry Quixby, co-manager of the 2008 Golden Geese. "That's like 40 guaranteed fantasy points every week. Not sure how fantasy points translate to real football, but I'm sure there is a strong correlation."
Quixby's fellow co-owner, Robert Bleyer, says the Vikings would really be in business if they could somehow acquire Brian Westbrook for the team's flex position.
