For the second straight day Washington Redskins DT Albert Haynesworth failed a conditioning test, meaning the team had to once again practice without him, a result that is absolutely 'appalling' to longtime Redskins fan, a portly, middle-aged Tom DeShine.
"He had to just sit around and do nothing all off-season," said DeShine, 47, reclined in his living room chair enjoying a can of Pringles Cheezums. "I bet I could pass that test. Mowing my lawn once or twice a week gets me plenty of exercise. Sure, its a self-propelled mower, but I walk right behind it the whole time for 40 or 45 minutes. That's almost a full hour. Running 300 yards a couple times would be a piece of cake. Say honey, do we have any cake?"
DeShine was wheezing too hard from going all the way downstairs to retrieve a loaf of bread from his freezer to say much more on the topic, but he did mutter something about Haynesworth returning his entire signing bonus for becoming such a 'fat slob.'
