Kyle Porterly, 28, of Muncie, Indiana was stunned by the opening day performance of Nancy in accounting, who correctly predicted each upset in their office pool on Day 1 of the NCAA Tournament.

"I can't believe Nancy. She goes 16 for 16 yesterday, and I'm pretty sure she doesn't even know anything about basketball. I bet she picked Murray State, Ohio and Old Dominion because that's where one of her relatives went to college. How lucky can you get?"

Porterly, who is currently dead last in the office pool, is fairly confident he can rescue his bracket and catch Nancy as long as he gets nearly every remaining game correct.

"Nancy's day was a total fluke and so was my rough start," said Porterly. "I'm not out of this thing yet. I didn't look real close but I'm almost certain 12 of my Sweet 16 teams are still in it. I just need everyone to keep winning and I'll be fine."

Porterly figures to win the office pool he needs to get 43 out of the remaining 47 games correct, and have Vermont beat Siena in the championship game by a score of 102-27.
