A poll taken around the Major League Baseball indicates President Obama's approval rating has plummeted to a mere three percent among all pitching coaches. The result of Obama's high and wide first pitch on Opening Day has left pitching coaches wary of his ability to lead this country.

"That was awful," said Braves pitching coach Roger McDowell. "He balked what, six, seven times? If he's that hesitant on the mound simply throwing a baseball, I shudder to think how he'll handle himself in times of national crisis."

Rays pitching coach Jim Hickey was equally disappointed.

Steve McCatty of the hometown Nationals was on hand for Obama's first pitch, and is the only MLB pitching coach to approve of the job Obama is doing. He marveled at Obama's ability to almost get the ball to home plate, and described his pitch as "one of the nastiest he's seen in his time as pitching coach of the Nationals."
