ESPN MLB Insider Jayson Stark, in preparation for his weekly trivia segment on Mike and Mike in the Morning, came up with a question so difficult, he himself was forced to find the answer via Google search.
"When you have to come up with a trivia question every week, sooner or later you're gonna stump yourself," said Stark. "I just can't believe it was this one, and I couldn't name the 3 active hitters with 1500 career hits, 800 ground outs, 600 pop-ups and 1200 check swings without a little help. How embarrassing."
Stark says despite puzzling himself this one time, he's pretty sure he has more obscure baseball knowledge than anyone else.
"I know for a fact Buster Olney has to use Google himself, not to mention Bing, Yahoo, Wikipedia, and Baseball Reference. And that's just for my easy stuff. For the brain busters, he probably has to call Tim Kurkjian too. Like he would know."
