Carson_PalmerKeith Allison/FlickrTerrell Owens and Chad Ochocinco, co-hosts of The T.Ocho Show on Versus, have no idea why Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Carson Palmer has threatened to retire if the team is unwilling to meet his demands for a trade.

"He could be fed up with the coaching staff," said Ochocinco. "From what my sources tell me, they're constantly telling guys where to line-up, and what do do on every play. I don't blame Carson for wanting out of that authoritarian type of atmosphere."

Owens countered with the assumption that Palmer must be upset with decisions being made by the front office.

"They've made some questionable signings," stated Owens as he second-guessed past off-season moves. "To bring in guys that've been on three or four teams the past four or five seasons, and think they are gonna suddenly become this complimentary team player instead of a selfish locker room cancer just shows how naive they are."

The two went back and forth on several other topics from the "less than ideal Ohio weather" to the possibility Palmer is fed up with one or more difficult teammates. Owens even suggested Palmer could be tired of wearing those "stupid looking striped helmets."

"Whatever it is, it must be pretty considerable for him to be willing to give up $50 million and part with the receiving duo of T.O. and Chad Ochocinco."
