"There's really no point in assigning draft grades if we aren't communicating the current level of draft performance to the parents or guardians of NFL head coaches and general managers," said Sports Illustrated Senior Writer Peter King, saying he does this every year hoping more parents and guardians will take an active role in the development of their child as an NFL front office executive. "Vice Presidents of Football Operations need to learn at home that there can be serious repercussions for taking a quarterback too early or for failing to address an offensive line need until the 6th round."

King added he will meticulously examine the report card of Vikings Vice President of Player Personnel, Rick Spielman, who "obviously" forged his mother's signature on the permission slip for the field trip to the set of NBC's Football Night in America.
