There have been rumors circulating around various media outlets that freshman quarterback Denard Robinson could possibly start over Tate Forcier against Wisconsin.

I don't really understand why Rich Rodriguez would decide to roll the dice this late in the season. Even though Tate Forcier has been struggling in the second half of the season, he's still gives Michigan the best chance to be victorious on Saturday.

I haven't witnessed anything to suggest that Denard Robinson has matured enough to earn the starting quarterback job over Tate. Sure, Robinson's proven that he can make plays with his feet, but not with his arm. I'm beginning to believe that there's more extenuating circumstances than are being reported publicly.

Maybe Forcier and coach Rodriguez aren't seeing eye to eye on certain issues, on and off the playing field.

If Michigan losses to Wisconsin on Saturday, Rich Rod will have a lot of explaining to do on Monday's weekly presser.

With a victory over the Badgers, Michigan would become bowl eligible. They would most likely earn a spot in the "Little Caesars Pizza Bowl.", formerly known as the "Motor City Bowl."

If they cannot manage to successfully complete that feat, the annual Ohio State/Michigan rivalry game will have more significance, for Michigan anyways, than in years past.

Maybe a win over the Suckeye's will cure the sorrows of ailing Michigan fans everywhere.
